Mayem Lake :
Drive 40 Kms from Panaji, in the village of Narve, visit the Saptakoteshwar Temple, and then relax yourself at the Mayem Lake. You can run the water by taking a boat ride available there. The most exciting thing to be watched is the break of night, where you can sit with your loved one and enjoy a star light dinner, with an essence of love, through all night. Accommodation is available if you plan to stay overnight.

Aravalem [ Harvalem] :
Cascading won from a height of around 50 meters, this waterfall is certainly a treat to eyes. Situated 45 Kms away from Panaji and 32 Kms from Mapusa. This waterfall is best viewed after monsoons, when the ferocity of the water is maximum. Close to the waterfall is the Rudeshwar temple, a well known religious destination in the state. A walk of only 5 mins takes you to the ancient Buddhist caves.

Dudhsagar :
If you feel you are adventurous and love trekking. Want to experience the thrill & might of nature ? Dudhsagar is the perfect place for you to hang out. It’s the most frequently visited waterfall along the GOA – KARNATAKA border. Dudhsagar means the Sea of Milk is situated at a distance of 70 Kms from Panaji and 12 Kms from Colem railway station. Its been one of the most beloved tourist destinations in the state for a number of years. The best time to be here is in the rainy period.

Kesarval Spring :
This spring also worth visiting in the rainy months. Situated merely 25 Kms from Panaji, the springs originate in the hard & compact rocks. A number of people across GOA make it to have a bath in the spring waters believing strongly in the medicinal properties of the water.

Big Foot [ Lotoulim ] :
30 Kms from Panaji, the best place to witness the essence of traditional GOA. The BALCAO & SOPO where once the oldies sat and the ANGAN or KHOLI where the kids played can all be seen here. You are welcomed in a traditional GOAN style. With a RED TIKKA on your head, you are allowed a pleasant view of the PALKI once used as a transport by the higher notes in the society. It is believed that this place contains the foot print of a saint.
