Bringing in the tadka element to Goa’s club scene is Deejay Sulaiman. Eight years since he first started spinning professionally, Sulaiman has earned himself the reputation of being the 'BAAP' of Bollywood remixes in Goa. But don’t tag this music maker to only the Hindi beat — Hip Hop, RnB, Club, House and Electro are also his genres. Having worked with the likes of artists Shaan, Sukhbir and Sunidhi Cauhan, actresses Malika Arora and Karishma Kapoor, and Goa’s own musicians Remo Fernandes and Bondo, Deejay Sulaiman has paved a way for himself into the books of musical fame. He plays at a variety of hotspots including Tito’s, Butter, Ozone, Shiro’s, Very Fenny and Gravity Pool in Goa and places like Park Inn’s Harry’s in Hyderabad and Club X-Zyte in Thailand. Sulaiman’s talent is not simply restricted to nightclubs only. He has also played for various corporate events of companies like IBM, Intel, BOSCH, Accenture, Jet Airways, Wella, Vodaphone, and Aditya Birla Group are a few to mention. On the wedding scene you can find him making and playing music for clients from all over the globe including Denmark, Spain, Dubai, UK, and Kenya. The Bonderam Festival at which Sulaiman played in 2005, brought in a crowd of over 10,000 people, while his performance during the IFFI and the annual Carnival netted in an impressive fan following. This deejay has made a name for himself with his signature free style and experimentation that have got him gigs with some other big names in the deejaying industry like deejays Suketu, Akbar Sami, Aqueel, Vicky Devine, Jalebee Cartel, Mudival Panditz, Nikhil and Pearl. Claudio started DJing in 1995. Originally from Kuwait; Claudio had to pack and leave due to the Gulf war. When he got to Goa all he had with him was a deck. That’s when he developed an interest in DJing. It started off doing gigs for parties and it escalated from there to something bigger and better. He has coordinated events titled RAZZMATAZZ, an all India Inter-collegiate dance competition from 1995 to 1997, FOOTLOOSE, an all Goa Inter-Collegiate dance competition in the year 1998, a Talent-Oriented contest in the field of Music, Song and Dance titled PLATFORM for an event management company in the year 2002. He has also done a lot of high profile gigs like Channel [V]’s DANCESTORM on 9th July 2000, DJed at SMIRNOFF’S GROOVIN’, a rain dance by the pool along with Goa’s leading DJ’s on 8th July 2001 Played as a lead DJ at SMIRNOFF’s FEMME FATALE 2001, India’s first DJ Mixing Championship for Women on 6th October 2001, DJed at MAIN STAGE 2001 and 2002, an inter-collegiate dance competition with leading DJ’s of Bangalore, for two consecutive years and DJ’ed at MEGA MIX 2002, A DJ mixing Show featuring Marc Dixon from England on 18th May 2002. He has been ranked as One of the Top 5 DJ’s of Goa By Times Of India, Goa Plus Edition in 2002. His other DJing gigs include 1st Traditional Easter Ball at Goa Marriott Resort on the 20th of April along with Bombays best DJ Ryan Beck, Dj’ed at Radisson, White Sands Resort, Goa, Live on Radio FM for their Saturday Night Blast along side RJ Alfie, Guest DJ at Castle Lager and Smirnoff’s All India DJ’s War zone finals at Club X, Bangalore with DJ Ivan and DJ Vachan. He is currently working for Pioneers DJ where the Top DJs in Goa work together to give you the best music to suit the tastes of every individual. He has been working with them for the past year and has performed a lot of shows under their banner.

DJ Nix started became a professional DJ in 2004. With complete practice and hard work, dedication and a lot of soul he came up with his own unique style of mixing. He is happiest when he is mixing and watching the crowd having a good time on the dance floor. He went on to being the winner of Spin 2008 – An all India DJing Competition. With sheer determination and the will to come out victorious, it paid off. The competition was tough but with his rapping during his mixing and playing he came through as winner. He’s played at renowned places like: - intercontinental: - the grand resort, Taj Exotica, Leela's, Cidade de Goa and Marriot to name a few of the places. He is currently one of the in house DJs at Café Mambo’s. You can catch him doing his thing on weeknights or weekends.

11 years in the industry and still going strong, Dj Joel has done it all from clubs to hotels, conferences to weddings. Joel started his career in 1997 when he joined Goa’s first Dj company called ‘DAT’ and trained under Goa’s Numero Uno Djs, Ajit and Troy who were handling all major night clubs at the time. But it was In 2000 when Joel blasted on to the Goa music scene after he took the first place at the ‘DJ VIBES 2000’, one of Goa’s First professional Dj Competition held at Kala Academy which included Dj Nasha Selekta as one of the judges. Once set, Joels first residency was at Club Westend, Saligao which went on for 2 seasons. After that it was residency after residency from Adega at Hotel Cidade Goa, Club Extreme, RYB at Taj Holiday Village, Kamaki, Mambos, Titos, Ozone at The Goa Marriott, Vanilla, On the Rocks at Hotel Villa Sol and now presently the in-house dj at Butter, Candolim a Brand New Hotspot rocking Goa with versatile crowds of all ages which is situated near Vijay Mallya’s Famous ‘Kingfisher Villa’. Besides residencies, Joel has played countless number of Private Parties, Conferences, Weddings and Shows in all leading Hotels including Taj Holiday Village, Taj Exotica, Goa Marriott, Leelas, Radisson, Cidade Goa, Hyatt, Intercontinental Goa. Internationally, he has played A New Year Party In Dubai at the Sheraton and has also performed 2 years in a row for the Annual Goa Carnival and Rain Dance held there. Indian DJs include DJ Ivan, DJ Pearl, DJ Nikhil, DJ Nasha Selekta, DJ Akbar Sami, DJ Whosane, DJ Nawed Khan, DJ Clement, and DJ Pri-Anjuna. Joel also opens sets for most of DJ Aqeel’s gigs in Goa. Over the years, his experience and talent led him to explore various genres of music. Present styles include R&B, Hip-hop, House, Electro, Desi and a lot of Funky Retro. However he is very passionate about his Goa Trance. Joel has now ventured into the event scene by starting his own event company, ‘BULLFROG GOA’ which is already getting very good response and has done many NRI weddings and parties. Services include the hiring of different DJs, rentals of High Quality Sound and Lights, Stage and Setups and any other event requirements.

DJ Rinton DJ Rinton was inspired by his friend and fellow DJ Joel, in 2002. That was when he began his tryst with DJing. It escalated when he went on to becoming runner up in the all India DJ competition, War Zone 2004 – 05. He did a 12 state tour with Live – in Jeans and he’s played at Rock Your Blues (Taj), On the rocks (villa sol), Club Cabana’s, Trafalgar Chowk and also for the recently concluded Goa Fest 2009. His main music is hiphop and house and tries to fulfill everyone’s music taste at the gigs he plays because he likes seeing everyone having a good time. He strives for aptness and finds a deep sense of fulfillment when he sees the crowd having a blast on the dance floor. DJ Rinton has been an in house DJ at Tito’s and Café Mambo’s for the past three years. The most satisfying part for this DJ is to see the people enjoying his music and having fun.
