Steering away from the cliché feel of shacks stands this gigantic white element of beauty which might make you feel like you've somehow stepped on a beach in Mykanos, Greece!
You'll find an incredibly clean and well maintained beach laid out with exuberant sunbathing chairs and beach beds with matching umbrellas that you wouldn't miss from a mile, to the most comfortable upper deck where the bean bags and futons that let you sink into a peaceful level of comfort while on a holiday by the ocean. The perfect spot to unwind with a couple of beers and delightful South East Asian food.
The music is out of this world! The best House, Techno, Minimal, Chill Out n Psychadelic you will hear this side of the hemisphere played by some of the more creative and musically sound artists of the country. Complimentary Wi-Fi access which enables you to kick back with your laptop or iPad. Adding to all that exists is a pool table, board games, beach outdoor games and not to forget a boy’s delight - The Playstation and X-box.. and for those crazy drunken sessions there’s the karaoke setup for the bathtub crooners.

Cavala, one of the first restaurants on the Calangute - Baga coast was a meeting place for travelers from the world over. Here they shared their good times, their stories, adventures and a laugh over a beer and a spicy `Country Captain', on a long table under the almond tree and when some resident enthusiast prepared a paella for one and all.
Many a romance also sparked off and bloomed !
Today, even thirty years and more after those heady, hippy years, many still return year after year with their friends, relatives and children to meet old friends and make new ones.
People come to a restaurant for a drink, good food and service and also a friendly chat, a pretty face, a smile. This is what we at Cavala are all about... and that's why the Cavala restaurant doesn't have any doors.
